Cathay's Army from Total War: Warhammer 3 is Finally Coming to Tabletop
The long-awaited Cathay army is being released for tabletop Warhammer following its debut in Total War: Warhammer 3.
Cathay’s army has finally breached the barriers set for their tabletop introduction, much to the excitement of Warhammer enthusiasts. Following the success of Total War: Warhammer 3, it was initially unclear whether forces from Cathay and Kislev would make it to the tabletop realm. However, recent sales of related products seem to justify their release.
A sneak peek of these miniatures showcased at this year’s AdeptiCon event confirmed their likeness to those in the video game, developed in collaboration between Creative Assembly and Games Workshop.
In addition to the staple jade warriors and lancers, new units such as magnificent sentinels and cute sky lanterns were teased, ensuring to pique the interest of both collectors and gamers alike.
Excitingly, two more forces from the Warhammer universe—the Beastmen and Wood Elves—were also hinted at during this preview, promising a variety of both fresh and nostalgic figures for fans to look forward to. The community is buzzing with anticipation, and many are already planning their purchases.
