Changes to Pokémon GO's Special Research Quest: A New Approach

Niantic has altered the Pokémon GO special research task "It's Not Over Yet", streamlining it with more achievable objectives.

Niantic has made significant changes to the Pokémon GO Special Research quest titled “It’s Not Over Yet.” New tasks have been introduced, which now focus on simpler objectives. Instead of complex challenges involving characters like Kyurem, Reshiram, and Zekrom, players are now tasked with catching 50 Fire-type Pokémon, 50 Electric-type Pokémon, and utilizing 50 Nanab Berries. This shift aims to enhance the experience for players who found the previous tasks overwhelming.

With the new format, completing the quest will feel much more attainable, ensuring a broader audience of players can experience these special challenges. As players progress, they will need to win five raids to advance to the next step, making these adjustments widely appreciated among the Pokémon GO community.
