BioWare has launched a new free weapons bundle for Dragon Age: The Veilguard, available for PC users on Steam until April 9. This is notable as the game’s support has been significantly reduced following its lackluster sales.
The bundle, titled Rook’s Weapons Appearance Offer, contains five unique weapons including a dagger and sword, each decorated with ominous designs.
Despite achieving modest success with sales around 1.5 million copies, the title has not met EA’s high expectations, resulting in layoffs and significant cutbacks in future content, except for essential bug fixes.
Gamers are encouraged to download the new content while it remains accessible and take advantage of the current 50% discount on the game until March 27. Players hoping for similar offers on consoles might feel disappointed as there has been no confirmation of such plans.
