The Kin of Sheredyn

The Kin of Sheredyn stands as Endless Legend 2’s first faction, designed for players who prefer to fortify their defenses. They are deemed the ’turtlers’ within the game’s universe. Derek Paxton, the game director, emphasized the faction’s focus on military entrenchment mechanics, where fortified cities reward bonuses and special abilities. This contrasts traditional expansion strategies, as players will prioritize strengthening their existing territories.

“They are our turtle builder archetype. If you like big walls, you are going to love the Kin,” says Derek Paxton.

Although reminiscent of characters from Endless Space 2, the Kin’s narrative is deeply linked to the mysterious Commander Garin, whose disappearance has become a pivotal point in the storyline.

As gameplay unfolds, players will engage in strategic battles that reward defensive formations, with future updates set to enhance their unique gameplay style.
