Adaptation of Until Dawn Embraces Time-Loop Concept for Horror Movie Release

A new horror movie inspired by the video game Until Dawn is set to hit theaters in 2025, introducing a unique time-loop twist reminiscent of Groundhog Day.

The interactive horror film Until Dawn has taken a new form as it transitions from a PlayStation game to a movie in 2025, with the first trailer now available.

The film, which centers around a time-loop narrative where characters face monstrous threats in a mysterious cabin, is reminiscent of the classic Groundhog Day. The protagonists, including Clover (played by Ella Rubin), must navigate through lethal scenarios repeatedly as they aim to survive until dawn over the course of 13 nights.

While the film diverges from its video game origins, it retains familiar elements such as a group of young adults in a spooky environment, rife with unexpected deaths. The narrative structure promises a mix of slasher film tropes and dark humor, inviting the audience to question how fear will manifest across the repeated nights.

Until Dawn will be showcased exclusively in theaters, though a release date has yet to be confirmed.
