FalleN Believes in FURIA's Potential for Greater Achievements
Brazilian veteran FalleN shares insights on FURIA's challenges and aspirations for upcoming tournaments.
The Brazilian veteran has his eyes set on a playoff run in Lisbon.
FURIA has experienced a challenging start to 2025. They finished in 9th-16th place at BLAST Bounty and were eliminated from the IEM Katowice group stage after only two matches. Despite their struggles, FalleN believes in the team’s potential and emphasizes the positives gained from their recent experiences.
“I believe that we really need to perform a little better to close out maps where we come close to winning and really find more quality in everyone’s game.”
FalleN expressed that his team is still in a building phase despite having the same roster for nearly ten months. He mentioned, “From my point of view, any team that hasn’t yet managed to reach a tier-S level and win tournaments is in the building stage until it no longer exists.”
The FURIA roster faces questions regarding their future success, but FalleN maintains that they have the desire and skills to improve and excel. He stated, “I believe the team still has a lot of desire, a lot of work, and a lot of quality to, as a whole, emerge among the best.”
Their next challenge will be against NAVI, a rematch from IEM Katowice, with a goal to qualify for the playoffs and build on their previous achievements. “Our dream scenario here would be to go through with two wins,” he concluded.
