A Pokemon Enthusiast Creates a Stunning 3D Printed Luxury Ball

A dedicated Pokemon fan has managed to replicate the Luxury Ball using 3D printing technology.

A Pokemon fan successfully used 3D printing technology to recreate the Luxury Ball from Pokemon Legends: Arceus. The diverse types of Poké Balls in the Pokemon franchise serve to capture various Pokemon during players’ quests to complete their Pokédex. The Luxury Ball, launched in Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire, enhances the captured Pokemon’s friendship level, which is essential for friendship-based evolutions like Espeon and Umbreon.

Luxury Balls have appeared in every mainline Pokemon game since the third generation, also being featured in multiple episodes and films of the Pokemon anime. Notably, one episode of Pokemon Horizons also gave a glimpse inside the Luxury Ball, showcasing a Quaxly enjoying a drink in a VIP lounge. The Luxury Ball was even part of the 2022 spinoff Pokemon Legends: Arceus, which included a vintage version for the Hisui region.

Reddit user Nabahe602 has made numerous 3D models of unique Poké Balls, including other variants from Pokemon Legends: Arceus and turning some into practical Game Boy cartridge cases. They shared a photo of their traditional Luxury Ball, which gracefully recreates the authentic design with its elegant black shell and luxurious gold detailing.

Every new Pokemon game presents opportunities for even more types of Poké Balls, indicating Nabahe602 has plenty of creative projects ahead!
