Inzoi to Launch at Price Similar to Sims 4 Expansion Packs with Free Updates During Early Access

Upcoming life simulation game Inzoi is set to release at a price point comparable to expansions for The Sims 4, offering free updates and DLC until its full launch.

Hyungjun “Kjun” Kim, the game director of the anticipated life simulation game Inzoi, has described the complexities involved in developing this title. He expressed that creating a game of this magnitude is almost “reckless,” and noted that “as a developer, I think Inzoi still has much room for improvement.”

Pricing and Updates

The game will launch in early access for $40, and during this phase, all updates and downloadable content (DLC) will be free until its full release. Kjun announced a roadmap for 2025 that outlines four major updates:

Update Schedule:

  1. May:

    • Mod kit (Maya, Blender)
    • Changes to weight and muscle adjustments
    • In-game cheat codes
    • Relationship improvements
    • Adoption system
    • New furniture
    • Improvements in creating a Zoi
  2. August:

    • Ghost play
    • Swimming and pools
    • AI build mode improvements
  3. October:

    • New furniture
    • Family time features
  4. December:

At launch, Inzoi will allow players to engage in a range of activities, with expected updates rolling out every three months, keeping players engaged and addressing their feedback. Kjun reiterated the commitment to maintaining development momentum until the full launch.
