Laurențiu ’lauNX’ Țârlea has been reinstated into the roster of Nexus, an organization he previously played for in the 2021-2022 season. He has replaced Roberto ‘ADRON’ Paun, who will continue with the team as a stand-in due to issues arising from a faulty ranking system (VRS).
Background
ADRON stepped in while errors in Valve’s ranking mechanism listed an outdated roster for Nexus during the early months of the year. The team could not announce a player change until a CCT event concluded.
The 19-year-old lauNX has also had a brief stint with Revenant, adding complexity to his return as the team prepares for upcoming tournaments, including the PGL Astana Europe closed qualifier.
Nexus now features:
RO Cătălin-Ionuț ‘BTN’ Stănescu
RO Adrian ‘XELLOW’ Guță
RO Cosmin ‘ragga’ Teodorescu
RO Alexandru ‘s0und’ Ștefan
RO Laurențiu ’lauNX’ Țârlea
RO Roberto ‘ADRON’ Paun (stand-in)
The first significant VRS featuring the updated lineup is set for March 3, which should allow Nexus to resume participation in ranked tournament invitations.
