Deconstructeam’s Upcoming Game Challenges Players to Hit an Elusive Target with a Fireball
Deconstructeam, the indie game studio known for titles like The Red Strings Club, is collaborating with Spanish studio Selkie Harbor on their next release, Many Nights a Whisper. This game revolves around the player assuming the role of the Dreamer, who undertakes a ritual to fulfill the wishes of their community.
Gameplay Overview
In Many Nights a Whisper, players will engage in a unique challenge to strike an impossibly distant chalice with a fireball using a sacred slingshot. The game presents day and night cycles; during the day, players train by launching fireballs and interacting with their mentor, while nights are spent at the Confession Wall, listening to the whispered wishes of the townsfolk to decide if they will be granted.
As the climax approaches, players must effectively perform the fireball shot to avoid ten years of calamity, increasing the stakes of this seemingly simple act. It promises to uphold Deconstructeam’s hallmark of delivering ethical dilemmas and heartfelt dialogues. The game is set to release in the second quarter of the year.
