92% of RTX 50-Series Users Activate DLSS Feature

A significant percentage of Nvidia users with RTX 50-Series cards are enabling DLSS, but obtaining these cards remains a challenge.

Recent reports indicate that 92% of users with the new RTX 50-series graphics cards from Nvidia have activated the DLSS feature, provided they have the Nvidia App installed. However, acquiring these cards has been a struggle, with many being quickly sold out upon release.

Despite Nvidia’s claims of doubling the shipments of the RTX 50-series compared to the previous generation, the context of those numbers raises questions. Only a limited number of GPUs are available, leading to high demand and competitive pricing.

Moreover, the impressive statistic of DLSS usage is qualified; it specifically pertains to users fortunate enough to secure an RTX 50-series card and install the associated software.

As such, while the data suggests broad adoption of DLSS, the realities of availability may temper these optimistic figures. Additionally, the nature of what is shipped versus sold must be considered: shipments simply reflect the number of products moved to retail, not necessarily actual sales.
