Fields of Mistria has garnered significant attention since its launch in early access, receiving ‘Overwhelmingly Positive’ reviews from over 16,000 players. The recent update introduces two new explorable areas: the Lava Caves and an expansion to the Deep Woods. Players can find the Lava Caves in the mine, specifically on floors 61-80, while the Deep Woods access is unlocked after completing the questline ‘breaking the fire seal’.

Additionally, pets can now be created following a ‘pet dream’ cutscene, enhancing gameplay by allowing players to assign their pets tasks like gathering resources.

Other noteworthy updates include bug fixes, gameplay adjustments, and new features such as water sprite statues for crop management and cosmetic upgrades through an ‘animal festival’.
