Exciting New Game Brings Back Classic GBA Feel

Fans of retro gaming have something to anticipate with the release of Pipistrello and the Cursed Yoyo, a title that boasts nostalgic elements reminiscent of the Game Boy Advance.

Fans of retro-style games are eagerly anticipating Pipistrello and the Cursed Yoyo, which immerses players in a vibrant world filled with pixel art reminiscent of the Game Boy Advance era. The game offers a top-down adventure where players take control of the protagonist, Pippit, as he navigates a city divided into four neighborhoods, each governed by different crime lords.

Central to the gameplay is the use of a yoyo, which serves both as a weapon and a means of travel. Throughout the journey, players can master various tricks that help Pippit overcome obstacles and solve intricate puzzles.

The game is set for release on multiple platforms, including PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and 5, alongside Xbox Series X/S, on May 28, 2025. Eager fans can access a demo and pre-order the game, with special collectibles including a plushie of the main character in the Collector’s Edition.
