Variants of WWE 2K25 Underground Matches Potentially Cut from the Game

Discoveries reveal that WWE 2K25 has hidden features, including significant underground match types possibly removed from the latest installment.

Several types of Underground matches in WWE 2K25, such as Triple Threat and Fatal Four-Way, appear to be missing. Players who obtained early access have discovered hidden details, leading to speculation that more match types could be introduced in future updates.

Fans are particularly hopeful for mods to restore these match types or add new content. In WWE 2K25, the Underground match introduced features such as the absence of ring ropes, where victories can only be achieved via KO or submission. Although this variant hasn’t been prevalent in WWE content for some time, its situational use has garnered positive feedback.

Recent discoveries indicate that the developers had originally planned more variants, but these features either became inaccessible or were ultimately cut from the game. Modding could potentially allow players to access these hidden options, but console players may miss out due to restrictions against modding in non-PC environments.
