“We actually have an interesting tip for how to avoid Jeff’s ultimate,” Chen explains in an interview. “Make sure you keep your formation spread out, and as soon as you hear Jeff saying ‘Nom, Nom, Nom’ before he unleashes the ultimate, you want to scatter away. And don’t hesitate to use your Mobility skills if you need to.”
Translation: “We actually have an interesting tip on how to avoid Jeff’s ultimate. Ensure your formation remains spread out. As soon as you hear Jeff’s ‘Nom, Nom, Nom’ before he activates his ultimate, scatter immediately. Don’t hesitate to use your Mobility skills if necessary.”

To further enhance this advice, players have found various abilities from different heroes that could dodge or mitigate the effects of Jeff’s ultimate. For instance, characters such as Star-Lord and Iron Man can effortlessly evade this attack by flying away when timed correctly.

Meanwhile, the developers have acknowledged the frustration posed by Jeff’s ultimate during Season 0—and they’ve responded with adjustments in Season 1, reducing the ability’s effective range, allowing heroes more time to react.
