WWE 2K25 Features Surprising AEW Reference

WWE 2K25 has included an unexpected nod to Cody Rhodes' history with AEW, delighting fans with various unlockable content.

WWE 2K25 contains an unexpected reference to Cody Rhodes’ time in AEW, which has left many fans surprised. The game, set to launch soon, allows players who pre-ordered special editions early access to various features. Among these is an alternate entrance for Cody where he famously destroys a stone throne belonging to Triple H with a sledgehammer, an act he performed during AEW’s Double or Nothing 2019 pay-per-view.

This surprising nod by WWE acknowledges Rhodes’ historical significance in wrestling, as he was a co-founder of All-Elite Wrestling before returning to WWE. Many are looking forward to experiencing this feature in WWE 2K25, which reportedly boasts one of the largest rosters ever, with various unlockable bonuses in different game modes.
