Blizzard Takes Action Against Exploitative Guilds in World of Warcraft

Blizzard has acted swiftly against a cheating guild that exploited their way to a Mythic raid victory in World of Warcraft.

World of Warcraft has swiftly imposed sanctions on the RAoV Quality Assurance guild, which recently achieved an unauthorized kill of Mythic Gallywix in the Liberation of Undermine raid. This guild’s exploitative methods, including utilizing boosted characters equipped with low-level gear, drew immediate scrutiny.

  • WoW’s Hall of Fame victory for this guild has been annulled, and records of their exploitative kill have been cleared.
  • Despite the deletion of the guild and bans issued on involved accounts, traces of their actions linger in game databases.

In the current race to defeat the Mythic bosses, top guilds such as Instant Dollars, Liquid, and Echo are still in competition for the legitimate world-first kill.

The intensity of the Mythic race for the Liberation of Undermine continues, with players striving to claim their place in WoW’s illustrious Hall of Fame.
