The upcoming game Dead in Antares, the third entry in the Dead In survival simulation series, is set to launch later this year. Players will take the role of a small crew as they navigate the dangers of an alien solar system, while managing resources ranging from food to complex repairs.

In addition to basic survival mechanics, you will need to maintain relationships among your crew, as each character has their own background and ambitions, influencing their actions in tense situations. Creative Director Matthieu Richez emphasized that the game aims to strike a better balance between storytelling and gameplay mechanics, offering a fluid and natural experience.

“Setting the story on a completely fictional planet allows designers to create unique challenges mingled with survival elements, enhancing the player experience in unexpected ways,” Richez stated.

Dead in Antares is projected for release in 2025, and will be available on Steam.
