Pre-registrations for the upcoming overhaul of Blade and Soul are currently open.

Overview

NCsoft is working on a modern reinterpretation of its 2012 MMO, Blade and Soul Neo, which comes with various visual and gameplay improvements. The remaster aims to help players relive the fantasy elements that defined the original game.

Gameplay Features

• Storyline Continuation: Players will choose from four races rooted in Asian mythology: dragon, qilin, phoenix, and turtle. They can select from seven classes, including Assassin, Blade Dancer, and more, embarking on quests to reclaim honor for their fallen clan.
• Enhanced Visuals: Significant upgrades have been made to textures, animations, and environmental details, ensuring a more immersive experience.
• Combat Customization: Players gain flexibility with combat techniques, while the game introduces infinite movement mechanics, allowing unhindered exploration.
• PvP Limitations Addressed: The original game faced backlash for its grinding nature and limited PvP access until character leveling. The new remaster may remove these barriers, enhancing player engagement during battles.

Release Date
