k0nfig Exits Ninjas in Pyjamas

Danish player k0nfig has been released from Ninjas in Pyjamas, marking the end of a turbulent partnership.

The Danish rifler k0nfig has transitioned to free-agent status after spending significant time inactive on the bench since February 2024.

On March 3, 2025, Ninjas in Pyjamas announced the release of Kristian “k0nfig” Wienecke, concluding their partnership that formed in early 2023.

During his time with the team, k0nfig played in competitions such as the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023, where they narrowly missed out on playoff contention. However, the team faced challenges, particularly failing to qualify for the PGL Major Copenhagen Europe RMR A, marking their lowest standing since 2018.

Reportedly, k0nfig had a short-lived opportunity to join TSM alongside Benjamin “blameF” Bremer, a move that ultimately collapsed as blameF signed with fnatic instead, leaving k0nfig without a team.
