GTA 5 Enhanced Launch: A Mixed Reception Among Players

The release of Grand Theft Auto 5 Enhanced on Steam has generated mixed reviews, despite a high player count.

Grand Theft Auto 5 Enhanced is now available on Steam, and feedback from players has been quite varied.

At present, nearly 115,000 players are engaged, with a peak of more than 187,000 over the last 24 hours. This surge can be attributed to the Enhanced version being offered for free to existing owners of GTA 5.

However, user reviews have been disappointing—currently rated as ‘mixed’ on Steam, with just 56% of feedback being positive. This may be reflective of various technical issues, account migration difficulties, and unmet expectations regarding upgrades.

Players have voiced concerns, citing performance hiccups and disappointment with frame rate limitations.

Additionally, although the Enhanced edition has successfully entered Steam’s top 10 games, it has not detracted from the original version, which still boasts around 122,000 concurrent players.

Final thoughts: The enduring interest in Grand Theft Auto 5 and GTA Online continues to challenge expectations amid the ongoing transitions.
