Details Revealed for MESA Nomadic Masters Spring Qualifiers

Three teams will secure their participation in the MESA Nomadic Masters Spring, which will take place in Ulaanbaatar from April 30 to May 4, 2025.

Qualification Process

To fill the eight spots, MESA will utilize regional qualifiers. Notably, the qualifiers will consist of:

EU Closed Qualifier: April 1-2; 4 invited teams.
Asia Closed Qualifier: April 1-2; includes 6 teams (4 invited from VRS, 2 from open qualifiers).

“We’ve been steadily building momentum in the Asia region and the global tier-2 scene,” said MESA CEO Amarjargal Altankhuyag. “Our tournaments have gained significant traction despite Mongolia’s modest market size. Last year, we allocated a $295,000 prize pool and invested over $400,000 in travel and hospitality expenses, entirely supported by local sponsorships.”

Competitive Spirit

MESA aims to provide a vibrant esports ecosystem, with a strong emphasis on LAN tournaments, stating that 70% of their events are hosted at the MESA LAN studio.

Further Details

The European qualifier will run in a double-elimination format, while the Asian qualifier will be based on LAN.
MESA League Season 4 will contribute its final team through open qualifiers, showcasing eight Mongolian teams.
