Sonic Rumble has confirmed that the limited-time skins available to players who access the game ahead of its global launch will “absolutely” make a return. Developed by Sega’s in-house studio Sonic Team alongside Rovio, Sonic Rumble is a battle royale game scheduled for release on Android, iOS, and PC in Spring 2025.
Currently, Sonic Rumble supports up to 32 players engaging in mini-games across multiple rounds, with the last player standing declared the winner. Despite its limited availability at present in countries such as Brazil, Sweden, the Netherlands, and Belgium, it has been open for pre-registrations globally since December 5, 2024, for all supported platforms. The developers recently shared that they plan to introduce limited-time content to keep the Sonic game experience fresh and reassured that every player will eventually get the opportunity to claim these items.
