Previously anticipated for a 2023 release, the game was postponed to 2024, but as the year wrapped up, no further updates have been provided by Studio Wildcard. This lack of communication is unusual, especially given the game’s association with Vin Diesel, who also contributed to its development as the “President of Creative Convergence.”
Meanwhile, Studio Wildcard has been active with its other project, Ark: Survival Ascended, which launched into early access in 2023. They have released a detailed roadmap extending through 2026, featuring fresh content updates, new creatures like bison, and remastered maps.
While fans await further news on Ark 2, they can follow the development of Ark: Survival Ascended and its upcoming features including an Unreal Engine update and expansions.
