Dust2.us has announced the Eagle Masters Series, a $50,000 online tournament series in North America featuring five events each with a prize of $10,000 running for two months.
This event will be a tier-two Valve Regional Standings (VRS) event featuring twelve invited teams from the Americas VRS alongside four teams from a series of open qualifiers.
Tournaments for the Eagle Masters Series will be conducted on INUI, a new matchmaking and league platform for Counter-Strike 2, and will be divided into two stages monthly: the initial is the open qualifier, and follows with Swiss groups and playoffs.
The prize distribution for each Eagle Master Series event is as follows:
- 1st place: $5,000
- 2nd place: $3,000
3-4. 3rd-4th place: $1,000
The schedule for the first Eagle Masters Series running from March to April is as follows:
- Qualifiers: March 8-23
- Swiss Stage: April 7-15
- Playoffs: April 21-30
The planned timeline for each Eagle Masters Series is as follows:
- Eagle Masters Series #1: March — June
- Eagle Masters Series #2: May — June
- Eagle Masters Series #3: July — August
- Eagle Masters Series #4: September — October
- Eagle Masters Series #5: November — December
