PGL has announced a delay in the closed qualifiers for the Bucharest 2025 event, citing the need to refine the invitation process to ensure consistency and compliance with Tournament Operations Requirements.

“We’re deeply sorry for the trouble,” PGL’s statement read. “We’ll make sure to do better in the future and avoid mistakes like this again.”

The qualifiers were originally scheduled to begin on February 28, impacting 32 teams in Europe and North America, and 31 in South America.
