Honda Collaborates with Pokémon for a Real-Life Koraidon Motorcycle

Honda is partnering with The Pokémon Company to create a life-sized motorcycle inspired by Koraidon, captivating fans globally.

The latest Pokémon collaboration has been revealed, with vehicle manufacturer Honda announcing it is teaming up with The Pokémon Company to create a Koraidon motorcycle. The surreal real-world build of the Legendary Pokémon, which has yet to be completely unveiled, is capturing the attention of Pokémon fans everywhere.

Introduced as part of the ninth generation of Pokémon, Koraidon is a dual-type Fighting/Dragon Legendary Paradox Pokémon, serving as the cover mascot for the immensely popular Pokémon Scarlet. Believed to be an ancient relative of fellow Gen 9 Pokémon Cyclizar, Koraidon also has a futuristic variant in Miraidon, the mascot of the paired game Pokémon Violet. While there had previously been a theory of a release window for shiny Koraidon and Miraidon in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, their alternate forms have yet to actually appear.

According to Honda’s official press release, in addition to the balancing technology also allowing the Koraidon bike to self-stand on two wheels, the Honda Koraidon’s hands, legs, neck, and facial movements are able to dynamically change depending on its Sprinting Build speed. Face, eye, and eyelid movements are planned to be included in the final build as well, though the moving components are not shown in the video.
