Now, this new system categorizes violations, where most low-severity offenses will expire within 90 days, while more serious issues may linger for one or two years. For repeat offenders, Twitch warns that penalties will escalate if violations occur within an existing suspension period. Indefinite suspensions remain in effect for severe offenses.

Additionally, Twitch plans to enhance transparency in violations. Streamers will receive specific examples of chat messages or stream snippets that led to their punishment, aiding them in understanding infractions better.
