In Skin Deep, players take on the role of Nina Pasadena, a former hitman turned insurance operative tasked with stopping space pirates aboard a corporate starship.

Gameplay Features

The game showcases humorous mechanics, including setting banana peel traps and throwing pepper to make enemies sneeze and incapacitate them. Notably, players must devise creative solutions using the environment around them.

“It’s very light and very goofy,” said Brendan Chung, Creative Director of Blendo Games, during the Annapurna Interactive Showcase. Translation: “It has a light-hearted and whimsical tone.”

Sanjay Madhav, a programmer at Blendo Games, added, “It’s like Die Hard but with more comedy.” *Translation: “It combines action with a humorous twist reminiscent of Die Hard.”

The game is set to launch on April 30 and aims to deliver an innovative first-person shooter experience unlike any other.
