New Expansion ‘Doom of Icewind Dale’ Released for 23-Year-Old RPG Neverwinter Nights
Doom of Icewind Dale marks the beginning of a promised series of expansions.
It’s rare to see an expansion launched for a game that’s over two decades old, yet Neverwinter Nights continues to offer unexpected delights, largely thanks to its dedicated community. With the approval of Wizards of the Coast, fantasy author and RPG developer Luke Scull has introduced Doom of Icewind Dale, the first installment of a sequel campaign to Neverwinter Nights, priced at just $10.
Doom of Icewind Dale takes place several years after the original campaign. It promises players 10-15 hours of mid to high-level adventuring in the infamous Icewind Dale setting, featuring new monsters, art, music, and a narrated introduction.
