Free Beta Test Launches for Mech Game by World of Tanks Developers
Wargaming's new mech shooter Steel Hunters enters open beta, allowing players to join a four-day test featuring unique gameplay.
Wargaming has announced a free beta test for Steel Hunters, a new mech shooter combining elements of hero gameplay and battle royale.
This open test is part of the Steam Publisher Weekend, lasting for four days until February 24, and players can join via Wargaming’s website or on Steam.
During the beta, a community-wide event will allow players to unlock a permanent skin based on their combined performance, along with daily leaderboard challenges. The playtest will also feature a returning battle pass from the previous version, which is now enhanced with new and revised content.
In Steel Hunters, players pilot uniquely designed heroic mechs, teaming up in pairs to compete against five other teams. The goal is to navigate a tech-filled battlefield while neutralizing opponents, ultimately striving to be the last team standing.
This is the second testing phase for Steel Hunters, which debuted last year, with Wargaming eager to gather player feedback ahead of its official launch.
Players interested in exploring this new mech shooter can find Steel Hunters on Steam and through Wargaming’s website.
