While users may be baffled by this decision, Ubisoft has acknowledged questions regarding the remastered version, stating, “Achievements for Assassin’s Creed 3 Remastered are coming soon!” This announcement has sparked a debate about the rationality behind delivering new features to games that are no longer available for sale, as opposed to focusing on titles that players can actually access.

In addition to the Assassin’s Creed 3 update, Ubisoft has also included achievements for Assassin’s Creed: Liberation HD, a title that remains purchasable. For players concerned about having to replay these games to unlock achievements they have previously earned, Ubisoft has reassured users that all previously earned achievements will be instantly granted upon launching the game.

Ultimately, this is encouraging news for gamers who enjoy the satisfaction of unlocking achievements in their games. However, there remains a lingering request for Ubisoft to eliminate the requirement of utilizing Ubisoft Connect for launching their games.
