The WoW fan community mourns the loss of Sandra Powers, a key figure in creating and maintaining essential resources for players.

Sandra Powers, known as Mania in the gaming community, has passed away after a long battle with cancer. She was a beloved figure in the World of Warcraft community, recognized for her critical contributions to fan sites like Petopia and Warcraft Mounts. Both sites serve tens of thousands of players as essential resources for guidance in their gaming journeys.

Powers had a significant impact not only as a site administrator but also as a game developer who contributed to notable titles such as Asheron’s Call and EverQuest 2. Beyond her technical contributions, her legacy endures through the player community that continues to benefit from the resources she created. Expressing grief over her passing, numerous players, developers, and content creators offered their condolences online.
