WWE 2K25: Ken Shamrock's Return Marks a Break in Tradition

The upcoming WWE 2K25 features Ken Shamrock, breaking the storied 'curse' of his inconsistent presence in WWE games.

Ken Shamrock, a prominent WWE legend, makes a comeback in WWE 2K25, breaking the so-called “Ken Shamrock curse”. This marks the first instance where he appears in consecutive editions of the WWE game series, following his role in WWE 2K24.

Fans have speculated that Shamrock’s inclusion is partly influenced by his memorable rivalries, particularly with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, showcased in the game’s 2K Showcase mode alongside cover star Roman Reigns.

With a release date set for March 14, WWE 2K25 presents a roster featuring over 300 playable characters, including fan favorites like CM Punk and Rhea Ripley, alongside legendary figures such as Stone Cold Steve Austin and Triple H.

Shamrock’s place in WWE 2K25 is particularly significant, considering his past absence from the gaming franchise, which had limited his appearances in games over the years. His return provides fans with the chance to relive classic matches against iconic opponents such as The Rock, whose bouts date back to the late 1990s.

Let’s look forward to March 14, when the game launches with a full roster reveal and exciting updates in gameplay!
