A renowned leaker recently disclosed significant insights about LEGO set 76473, which is anticipated to be the largest Harry Potter themed model of 2026. These unofficial revelations come approximately six months before the expected launch date.
LEGO has been consistently producing Harry Potter sets since the film adaptation of the first Wizarding World book was released in November 2021. The company most recently introduced nine new products in January 2026, ranging from a simple $4.99 polybag of Dumbledore’s Office to the 76466 Philosopher’s Stone - Collector’s Edition, a detailed set priced at $159.99 featuring a poseable Hedwig figure, secret compartments, and three minifigures. Further releases are likely to follow as various credible leakers have been hinting at a significant summer 2026 wave of LEGO Harry Potter sets since late last year.
Set 76473 is rumored to be the leading entry in the upcoming lineup. This set is allegedly titled “Hogwarts Castle: East Wing”, and includes 2,164 pieces, making it the largest LEGO Harry Potter set for 2026 by a large margin. Recent details shared by LEGO leaker UniBricks describe the model as showcasing the eastern section of Hogwarts Castle along with the Viaduct Bridge connecting it to the courtyard. Although the courtyard isn’t expected to be part of the set, it is anticipated to include a miniature version of the Chamber of Secrets, complete with a new Basilisk figure—the first since the 76389 Chamber of Secrets set was retired in late 2024 after three and a half years of production. The inclusion of the Bloody Baron, probably represented as a minifigure, is also mentioned. Regardless, set 76473 is projected to feature the character’s debut in LEGO form.
While previous leaks have not provided a concrete release timeframe beyond “summer”, LEGO’s seasonal product refresh cycles indicate that this new Hogwarts module may hit store shelves on August 1. At least six other Harry Potter themed LEGO sets are rumored to be released concurrently, having been discussed in various prior insider reports. The 76473 Hogwarts Castle: East Wing is expected to retail for $249.99.

This upcoming range coincides with renewed efforts to revitalize the Harry Potter franchise, highlighted by a live-action Harry Potter television series that aims to comprehensively remake the popular film saga. Produced by HBO, the series is currently scheduled for an early 2027 release. Given LEGO’s historical release patterns, there is a reasonable expectation that a diverse array of new sets may debut closer to the show’s premiere.
