Dycha Steps Away from Competitive Play After Monte Stint

Polish player dycha takes a brief hiatus from competition following his time with Monte, aiming to compete at the highest level in CS.

The former ENCE rifler, Paweł “dycha” Dycha, has publicly announced his decision to step back from Monte’s competitive roster and take a short break from competition until after the BLAST.tv Austin Major. This marks the end of his seven-month tenure with Monte.

While with the team, dycha expressed disappointment at their limited success, missing out on a chance to compete at the Perfect World Shanghai Major and only managing a semi-final finish at the ESL Challenger Katowice in October 2024. He remarked, “We mutually agreed to play out the remaining matches to maintain the VRS ranking without major disruption.”

Dycha is hopeful about his future in CS, asserting that he is still motivated to compete at top levels.
