Keychron Introduces a Heavy-Duty Concrete Keyboard with Unmatched Smoothness

Keychron's latest offering features a concrete body, promising industrial rhythm and auditory-visual harmony for a distinct typing experience.

What sound does a concrete keyboard produce? That’s the experience Keychron aims to deliver with its upcoming wireless model, the Keychron K2 HE Concrete Edition. It looks like a standard light-colored keyboard but boasts a substantial concrete base.

Key Features and Description

This keyboard is constructed primarily of a smooth marble-like concrete shell that blends seamlessly with its gray keycaps. Keychron claims, “Each keystroke carries industrial rhythm, preserving the concrete’s solid core while elevating the experience with marble-like smoothness and auditory-visual harmony”.

The keyboard features:

  • Double-shot PBT keycaps
  • Hot-swappable switches
  • 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth connectivity
  • A resilient concrete chassis that may intrigue both gamers and minimalists alike.

Although parts of the chassis cannot be made of concrete (such as the connecting panels), the product aims to deliver a unique audio experience, described by the company as “deep” and “resonant.” Shoppers can look forward to its official launch later this month.
