Riot Games has launched a significant update for 2XKO, primarily aimed at fixing several bugs. Notably, the update focuses on correcting gameplay issues without adjusting the game’s balance at this time.
Initially developed as Project L, 2XKO officially debuted on October 7, 2025, for PC users and has since expanded its content and availability to consoles, including Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 during its first season.
Despite its popularity among fans of the Runeterra universe, which encompasses League of Legends and the Arcane series on Netflix, players have expressed dissatisfaction with the pricing of in-game items. There have been numerous debates surrounding the costs of character skins, with some priced at $20 or more, and a new Arcade Megabundle option structured at $80.
This recent patch addresses four core gameplay bugs, including:
- Fixing issues that made the enemy invisible using Tag Launchers.
- Correcting a bug that disrupted the game camera.
- Resolving problems where players could bypass certain gameplay mechanics.
- Updates improving player experience during champion selection.
However, the patch has not resolved ongoing screen tearing issues reported on consoles since their launch in January 2026, an issue already acknowledged by Riot Games in the patch notes.
