Grounded 2's Latest Update Sets the Stage for a Major January Release

Obsidian Entertainment has just rolled out a significant feature update for Grounded 2, paving the way for a forthcoming major content release in January.

Obsidian Entertainment has released a comprehensive feature update for its early access title, Grounded 2, which also lays the groundwork for a massive January update. Following the successful launch in July, the game garnered significant attention and quickly climbed into the top ten of Xbox’s most played games within weeks. The sequel, set in the new locale of Brookhollow Park, aims to build upon the original’s success by introducing new gameplay elements and engaging content.

The 0.2.2 update enhances the game experience and readies players for upcoming winter-themed content, including the reintroduction of holiday elements and the Coziness System, which expands base decoration options and unlocks new perks.

Key improvements made include updates to the PEEP.R system, an upgraded navigation system, and performance enhancements. As anticipation builds for the upcoming January update, which promises even more features including new creatures and tools, the community is eager to see what’s next for Grounded 2.
