Latest Viral Tease for Game Awards Might Point to Elder Scrolls Online

Speculation around a cryptic teaser posted by Geoff Keighley, suggesting a potential update for the Elder Scrolls Online.

Geoff Keighley, host of the Game Awards, recently posted a cryptic image that has sparked a wave of speculation about its meaning. Accompanied by the text regal.inspiring.thickness, the image portrays a hellish monument located in a desert.

When inputting those three words into What3Words, a mapped location emerges close to Joshua Tree in California. YouTuber KingVision18 even visited the site to discover the actual monument, which appears to be a freestanding portal covered in disturbing skeletons.

Despite rampant speculation, it has been dismissed that this teaser relates to the next God of War installment. Instead, many believe it could be hinting towards an update for Elder Scrolls Online, notably due to the presence of a crocodile-like creature in the imagery reminiscent of Daedroth from the game.

The Game Awards will be taking place on December 11.
