Intel's Upcoming 14A Chip Production Node is Claimed to be a Game-Changer by Analyst
Industry insider shares optimism about Intel's advance in chip production technology.
Intel could be on the verge of a major comeback according to industry analyst Patrick Moorehead, who has labeled the upcoming 14A chip production node as the ‘real deal.’ Moorehead, head of Moor Insights and Strategy, expressed confidence in Intel’s direction, particularly following their recent collaboration with Apple.
He believes that Intel’s ability to produce cutting-edge chips in the Panther Lake series will solidify its status in the chip market. Moorehead stated, “From everything I’ve seen—and all the Intel customers I’ve talked to—I’m very confident that Intel will use 18A to successfully produce tens of millions of leading-edge chips.”
As Intel gears up for the release of its 14A node, discussions about its potential success are heating up, particularly in response to potential expansions and developments scheduled for 2026.
