'We're Back': After Withdrawing from The Game Awards, Megabonk Returns in the Players' Voice Category

After stepping back from The Game Awards, the Megabonk team is re-entering the competition for the Players' Voice category, though the competition remains fierce.

After a brief withdrawal from The Game Awards due to categorization issues, Megabonk is excited to announce its return—this time in the Players’ Voice category.

“WE’RE SO BACK,” Vedinad exclaimed on X. “Megabonk is nominated for The Game Awards—Player’s Voice!”

Despite the fierce competition, especially against well-established titles like Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Megabonk’s fan-focused category offers a new and promising opportunity. The Players’ Voice category operates entirely on public votes, featuring a vibrant selection of 30 games competing over three rounds.

While the odds may be daunting, the Megabonk team is optimistic about rallying support from their community. Now more than ever, they encourage fans to vote.

The Game Awards 2025 will be held on December 11, and anticipation is building for the final showdown!
