Arc Raiders' Recent Patch Transforms Glitchy Doors into Fiery Traps for Cheaters

In the latest update for Arc Raiders, a notorious exploit allowing players to breach locked doors has been resolved by introducing flamethrowers, igniting anyone who tries to cheat their way in. Additionally, a new Stella Montis modifier has been added.

The latest patch for Arc Raiders has fixed a widely used exploit that allowed players to bypass locked doors. Previously, players could navigate through these barriers using various methods, such as jumping off teammates or using barricades, but this loophole has now been effectively closed.

Developers of the game announced, “We have made a very hot fix for the locked room exploits. Exploit mitigation mechanisms have been added for all locked rooms across all maps.” The solution? Dangerous flamethrowers placed in locked rooms which will incinerate anyone trying to exploit their way inside.

You can witness a player, Scrappy (not the chicken), testing this new defense mechanism, only to be engulfed in flames as they attempt to exploit the glitch. It seems the developers have opted for a creative approach to deter cheaters.

In addition to these tweaks, the update introduces a new Stella Montis modifier that promises to shake up gameplay even further. Players have long noted that the map often appears night-like, and now, the actual night raid feature adds a new level of difficulty.

Godspeed to those who want to test their skills in this updated environment!
