Behaviour Interactive announces the upcoming Stranger Things DLC chapter for Dead by Daylight, featuring new content and characters.

Behaviour Interactive has officially announced a second crossover with Stranger Things for the game Dead by Daylight. This new chapter will bring content inspired by the famed Netflix series, making it one of the select properties to have multiple collaborations with the game, joining Resident Evil in this exclusive club.

The first crossover launched in September 2019 but was removed in 2021 due to licensing issues. Fortunately, the content was reintroduced in November 2023 and is still available.

For a price of $11.99 or 1,500 Auric Cells, players can enjoy access to two themed survivors, Steve Harrington and Nancy Wheeler, along with a killer, The Demogorgon. Nancy’s perks enhance teammate awareness, while Steve’s perks assist his survival in dire situations, and The Demogorgon can create teleportation portals via the Upside Down.

Vecna Joins the Fray

A teaser released on November 27 by Dead by Daylight’s official X account confirmed Vecna, a prominent villain from Stranger Things, will be the main focus of this new DLC, likely presented as a new playable killer. This announcement coincides with the fifth season’s debut on Netflix, where the first four episodes are available from November 26 in the US.

Expectations are high for what this new chapter will entail, particularly how Vecna’s abilities will be translated from the series into the game.

As seen previously, fans may look forward to additional characters joining from the show, with Jim Hopper and Joyce Byers being strong candidates for new survivor roles. Moreover, a new map is anticipated, potentially set in iconic locations fromStranger Things, such as Creel House or Vecna’s lair in the Upside Down.

The second chapter is expected to launch in January 2026, aligning closely with the Stranger Things season finale, adding an exciting layer to the ongoing relationship between these two popular franchises.
