System Shock 2's 25th Anniversary Remaster Set to Reveal Release Date on March 20

After years of development, Nightdive Studios will announce the release date for System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster during the Future Game Show.

A Date for the Release

Nightdive Studios has finally scheduled to announce the release date for its much-anticipated remaster of System Shock 2, now aptly named the 25th Anniversary Remaster. After a lengthy development period of six years, fans will have the chance to mark their calendars for March 20, which aligns with the Future Game Show Spring Showcase at GDC 2025.

While the game originally debuted in 1999, this latest iteration aims to preserve the charm of the original while modernizing its features. Although there’s no word yet on additional details about the gameplay or enhancements, a new trailer will accompany the announcement. It’s an exciting time for those who fondly remember the original game or are newcomers to the franchise.
