Arrowhead Game Studios CCO Johan Pilestedt shared updates on what the studio’s next game might entail. Despite fans eager for another title following the success of Helldivers 2, Pilestedt cautioned that they shouldn’t expect anything soon.

“It won’t be something that’s too far off from Helldivers, so all of the people that are massive Helldivers fans will be able to jump into the next game as well and recognize the DNA, at least,” Pilestedt elaborated. This could bring relief to many passionate fans of the franchise, as the sequel to the 2024 release was a significant risk that paid off.

Anticipating the Future

Though no specific release windows were offered, Pilestedt mentioned that the game is currently in its early development stages. He expressed enthusiasm about gathering a new team and exploring what games they wish to create together, echoing a sense of collaborative creativity. However, fans might have a wait ahead before any further information is unveiled.
