Nvidia Confirms New GPU Release Dates for RTX 5070 and 5070 Ti

Nvidia officially announced the release dates for its latest GPUs, the RTX 5070 Ti on February 20 and the RTX 5070 on March 5.

Earlier this week, Nvidia confirmed a slight delay for the RTX 5070 GPU, moving its launch to March 5, while the RTX 5070 Ti will be available on February 20.

Originally planned for February, this pushback aims to ensure better stock availability at launch. This delay could also be a strategic move to counter AMD’s competing Radeon RX 9070 and 9070 XT releases, which are also slated for launch next month.

Nvidia’s decision appears to be a calculated effort to dominate the press coverage surrounding these GPU launches, ensuring that both products battle for attention in a shared news cycle.

AMD has hinted at the importance of optimizing performance for their upcoming cards. McAfee stated, ‘We are taking a little extra time to optimize the software stack for maximum performance and enable more FSR 4 titles.’

As the launch dates approach, gamers are eager to know if there will be enough availability of Nvidia’s new cards, as the previous RTX 5080 and 5090 models flew off shelves shortly after release.
