AMD Shares New Insights on RX 9070 Series Ahead of Live Stream

AMD is set to reveal more about its RX 9070 graphics cards during an upcoming live stream, following a series of delays and teases.

AMD’s rollout of its upcoming graphics card series has met unexpected delays, with significant anticipation building. The details concerning the RX 9070 graphics cards are expected to be unveiled during a live stream on February 28 at 8 AM EST / 5 AM PT on the AMD Gaming YouTube channel.

After initial expectations that information would be shared at CES, the anticipation shifted as AMD delayed the product launch. Details of these upcoming models, featuring the new RDNA 4 architecture, are now surfacing along with the specifications and performance metrics that could potentially rival Nvidia’s RTX 50-series cards.

Notably, the RX 9070 series aims for a broader market segment without replacing high-end models like the RTX 5090. Additional insights include plans for a diverse offering of cards available worldwide for the projected March launch.

AMD’s David McAfee stated, “We are planning to have a wide assortment of cards available globally for its launch in March.” This signals a strong commitment from AMD to meet market demand amid increasing competition from Nvidia.
