TimeSplitters Rewind Set for November Launch After 13-Year Wait

The much-anticipated TimeSplitters Rewind, initially hailed as a mod for CryEngine, will finally launch this November.

The wait is nearly over. After a staggering period of 13 years, TimeSplitters Rewind—originally introduced as a CryEngine mod—will finally be made available to players this coming November.

In the early stages, when Free Radical Design was rebranded, Crytek granted a group of enthusiastic modders permission to work on this project. After what seemed like a series of stops and starts, the TimeSplitters Rewind project has now gained momentum, and we will see its release on November 23.

This fan-driven project has transformed into a comprehensive tribute, offering a compilation of maps, modes, leagues, challenges, and story points drawn from the original TimeSplitters trilogy. Expect an astonishing array of content, such as:

  • 28 Maps
  • Online and Offline Story Mode
  • 50 Arcade Leagues
  • 32 Challenges
  • 91 Characters
  • 41 Weapons
  • 20 Arcade Game Modes

The developers assure that this will be entirely free of charge, with no hidden costs or microtransactions involved, providing a satisfying experience for fans of the series.
