A Deepfake Stream Surpasses Nvidia's GTC Keynote Views

An AI-generated video featuring a fake Jensen Huang garnered more views than the actual Nvidia GTC keynote, raising concerns about the impact of deepfakes.

A deepfake livestream featuring an AI-generated Jensen Huang promoting a cryptocurrency event was broadcast simultaneously with Nvidia’s GTC keynote, attracting 5 times more viewers. This counterfeit stream received nearly 100,000 views at its peak, misleading many during the official event, which had about 20,000 viewers live. The actual Nvidia keynote can be viewed here.

The fake stream, promoting a crypto mass adoption event, has since been taken down, highlighting the growing issue of deepfake technology. As Nvidia continues its strong performance in the AI landscape, attention to this digital phenomenon becomes increasingly crucial.
